PayPal leverages extensive experimentation strategies to continually improve our products. We are seeking a talented Experimentation leader to help grow the business and improve customer experience KPIs via A/B/Multivariate testing. You will work with cross-functional Product, Marketing, Engineering teams across PayPal.


**RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Experimentation Leadership

+ Develop A/B/Multivariate testing and targeting strategies to achieve business objectives

+ Drive ideation process of new experiments for continual product and business metrics improvements

+ Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to interpret test results and make product recommendations

+ Execute key tests and initiatives and build best practices for tests execution

+ Create knowledge database of test hypothesis and final outcomes

+ Conduct companywide trainings, build best practices documentation for Experimentation

+ Leverage customer segmentation strategies to drive innovative personalization strategies that improves customer engagements and reduces churn

+ Mentorship

+ Lead a team of Experimentation analysts and provide mentorship

+ Provide technical guidance to the team on emerging Experimentation and statistical methodologies

+ Provide technical guidance to the team to track and report on key funnel metrics and report on results in scalable manner using scripting languages, R, Python and visualization tools such as Tableau, QlickView

+ Stake holder management

+ Lead work-streams for consumer, merchant, marketing, and regional business units

+ Develop reporting to highlight key test findings and share with the senior leadership team; apply learnings to future products and campaigns to improve results

+ Collaborate with technology partners to drive Experimentation platform scalability and innovation

+ Create, maintain and execute on the roadmap, sharing regular status updates

+ Collaborate with stakeholders from different functional areas to achieve common goals


**Qualifications**


+ 2+ years of people management, mentorship and leadership experience

+ 5+ years of experimentation experience with a proven track record of leveraging analytics and large amounts of data to drive significant business impact

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong business acumen

+ Must be able to translate business objectives into actionable insights, and data into business and product recommendations

+ Passion for learning and innovating new methodologies, technologies and grow analytical skillset

+ Rigorously detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy

+ Experience in statistical methodologies to conduct A/B, Multivariate Testing with rate, count and continuous KPIs/metrics

+ Hands-on experience in Testing tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely or similar platforms

+ Solid statistical knowledge and intuition, ideally utilized in experimentation and modeling

+ Intellectual and analytical curiosity -- initiative to dig into the "why" of various results with a passion for problem-solving

+ Impactful presentation skills, including the use of data visualizations to convey information and results clearly and concisely

+ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, reprioritize as needed and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines

+ Self-starter with a passion for your problem solving, attention to detail, and has a positive attitude

+ MBA or Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related fields

+ SQL, R, Python and database knowledge is required
